Blaise Aguera y Arcas is a software engineer, software architect, and designer. Currently, in his work as a distinguished scientist at Google, he leads a team that works on developing artificial intelligence, or AI, for mobile devices. Aguera y Arcas is a recognized authority on computer vision, machine intelligence, and computational photography. Aguera y Arcas is also the founder of Google’s Artists and Machine Intelligence Program, which teams up machine learning engineers and artists to create art.Prior to starting at Google in 2013, Aguera y Arcas was a Distinguished Engineer at Microsoft, a role in which he served as the architect of Bing Maps and Bing Mobile.
