Mary Cay Ricci Bio

Mary Cay Marchione Ricci is an education consultant and speaker. She was previously the Coordinator of Gifted and Talented Education for Baltimore County Public Schools and an instructional specialist in the Division of Enriched and Accelerated Instruction for Montgomery County Public Schools, MD. Mary Cay holds a master’s degree that includes certification in gifted and talented education and administration and supervision from Johns Hopkins University, where she is currently a faculty associate in the Graduate School of Education. She completed her undergraduate degree in elementary education at Mercyhurst University.Mary Cay has experience as an elementary and middle school teacher. In 2010, she received an award for state leadership in gifted education from the Maryland State Department of Education. Mary Cay is also a frequent presenter at local, state and national conferences and has coauthored several articles for Parenting for High Potential, a publication of the National Association for Gifted Children.
