Dr. Matthew Greene is co-author with his father, Howard Greene, of the books in the Greenes’ Guides to Educational Planning (Collins Reference) series, and is Educational Director of Howard Greene & Associates, one of the top educational consulting firms in the United States. He holds a Bachelors Degree from Dartmouth College (1990) where he majored in history modified with government. He joined Howard Greene & Associates in 1997 after earning both his Masters Degree in Public Policy and his Doctorate in Political Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Greene counsels families on secondary school, college, and graduate school admission, as well as career planning, in Connecticut, New York, nationally, and internationally.Greene and father Howard have written a national bi-monthly column for Knight Ridder-Tribune News Service and are regular contributors to University Business Magazine. They are also co-hosts of two PBS television programs Ten Steps to College with the Greenes and Paying for College with the Greenes. Greene is a frequent presenter on educational planning and college admissions, and is trained in mediation and conflict resolution techniques.
