Scott Bergren Bio

Mr. Scott Bergren has been the Chief Innovation Officer of Yum! Brands, Inc. since 2011. He served as the Chief Concept Officer and President of Pizza Hut Inc., a subsidiary of Yum! Brands Inc. from November 2006 and December 1, 2006 to February, 2011. Mr. Bergren has strong leadership & pizza category credentials and successfully ran the Pizza Hut businesses in Mexico and Central America. He previously headed Round Table Pizza and Chevy’s Mexican Restaurants. He served as Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing and Food Innovation Officer at Yum! Brands, including direct accountability for KFC. He served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Chevys Inc., where he tripled sales and store operating profits over a seven-year period. Mr. Bergren successfully evolved the Chevy’s brand and created two successful fast casual concepts including Fuzio Universal Pasta and WrapWorks. He served at PepsiCo Restaurants International as General Manager where he was credited for turning around the Pizza Hut Mexico business and building a strong KFC franchise.
