Stuart is the Managing Partner of Twin Capital where he is an operating investor in early-stage interactive marketing service and technology companies. He is an active advisor to readMedia, Palio, Lakeshore Capital Partners, and Partner Data, and sits on the board of directors of Performline and Netconcepts.Prior to this, he spent eight years at an internet start up, Performics, leading the business through rapid growth and subsequent acquisitions by Doubleclick, Hellman & Friedman, Google, and most recently, Publicis.In his role at Performics, Stuart managed a team of search engine marketing experts and lead Performics interactions with major search engines. His team was responsible for delivering customized, profitable, and scaleable search marketing programs for Performicsâ?? clients in a variety of industries including automotive, financial services and retail. Stuart was also involved in many online advertising industry groups and associations, such as the IAB, Yahoo Search Advertiser Council, MSN Search Committee, and the Google SEM Council. He spoke regularly at industry trade events such as e-Tail and the DMAâ??s American Catalog Conference. He was featured as a company spokesperson in many industry publications including AdAge, Chief Marketer, Target Marketing and Internet Retailer.Prior to Performics, he was Operations Manager for Penske Truck Leasing, a GE Capital Company. Preceding his operations management position, Stuart functioned as a Project Manager and served as a Black Belt during the initial wave of GEâ??s Six-Sigma Initiative. From 1992 through 1995, he worked as a Special Aide to U.S. Senator Spencer Abraham.
